What camera do you use and what kind of subject do you like taking picture the most?

I have a Nikon d5000 and well I really enjoy taking pictures of close and extreme close ups of objects but especially animals. hmm, now that I think about it, animals and portraits of people I guess intrigue me as well. 
Whatever feels right at the moment.
